Thrissur Gears Up for Kerala Assembly Polls Counting Day as Results Awaited
Thrissur district is prepared for the counting of votes in the 2026 Assembly elections, with arrangements in place for a smooth, transparent, and secure process. District Election Officer and Collector Shikha Surendran confirmed that all systems are adequately organized for the exercise.
Vote counting will take place across three designated centres: Government Engineering College in Thrissur, Sree Krishna College in Guruvayur, and Christ College in Irinjalakuda. This strategic distribution aims to facilitate efficient monitoring and processing of votes from the district’s 13 Assembly constituencies.
