Market Trading Alert: Buy RIL and Coal India This Thursday for Potential Near-Term Gains of Up to 8%!
The Nifty index concluded Wednesday on a positive note, driven primarily by strong buying interest in the auto, FMCG, and IT sectors. The recent technical indicators show that the Relative Strength Index (RSI) is on the verge of a bullish crossover, signaling potential upward momentum. However, Rupak De, Senior Technical Analyst at LKP Securities, noted that while Nifty managed to rally above the 50-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA), it could not maintain this level by the close. Support levels are established at 24,150 and 23,900, while resistance is anticipated at 24,350 and 24,550, indicating a market sentiment that remains uncertain and could lead to volatility, especially with the upcoming BSE monthly expiry.
In terms of stock recommendations, Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) emerges as a notable buy candidate. Analysts suggest entering at a price range of Rs 1,420-1,430, with a target price set between Rs 1,500 and Rs 1,520 and a stop-loss at Rs 1,382. The stock is exhibiting robust bullish momentum, reflected by its RSI consistently above 60 and recent price patterns resembling a Three White Soldiers formation, which indicates sustained buying interest. With the current market structure supporting further upside, investors are advised to consider RIL as a “buy-on-dips” opportunity as long as it holds above key EMAs.
Another stock recommended for purchase is Coal India Limited, with an entry price between Rs 475-480, a target of Rs 510-520, and a stop-loss at Rs 455. The stock has shown strong bullish momentum, breaking through a significant resistance zone and sustaining above major EMAs. The RSI remains above 60, indicating ongoing buying interest and suggesting a favorable risk-reward setup. Market participants are encouraged to capitalize on this upward trend as long as the price continues to stay above the breakout zone, which reinforces the bullish outlook for Coal India.
