Zen Technologies Q4 Results: Cons PAT Plummets 69% YoY to Rs 32 Crore Amid 45% Revenue Decline.
Zen Technologies has reported a significant decline in its consolidated net profit for the quarter ending March 31, 2026, posting Rs 32 crore compared to Rs 101 crore in the same quarter of the previous year, marking a staggering 69% drop. The revenue from operations also showcased a disappointing trend, decreasing by 45% to Rs 178.7 crore from Rs 325 crore year-on-year. These figures indicate that the company is facing substantial challenges in maintaining its operational momentum in a competitive market. The revenue numbers for Q4FY26 are particularly noteworthy as they are calculated as balancing figures, reflecting a more complex financial scenario this quarter.
Sequentially, Zen Technologies’ bottom line decreased by 42%, down from Rs 55 crore in Q3FY26, although the topline saw a marginal increase of 2.4% from Rs 177.82 crore in the preceding quarter. The company’s operational expenses rose to Rs 135 crore, primarily attributed to the cost of materials consumed and employee benefits, yet this was still lower than the Rs 196 crore incurred in Q4FY25. Notably, the new labour codes introduced a one-time increase in gratuity liability that contributed to the overall rise in employee benefit expenses.
Despite the challenging financial landscape, Zen Technologies declared a final dividend of Re 1 per share for FY26, showcasing a commitment to returning value to its shareholders. Additionally, the company reported Rs 23 crore in other income, marking an increase from the previous quarter, although it fell short of the Rs 25 crore reported in the same quarter last year. It is worth noting that the value of orders on hand for the group stood at Rs 1,336 crore as of March 31, 2026, suggesting a robust pipeline that may provide some optimism for future operations. Investors will keenly watch how the company maneuvers through these adversities in the coming quarters.
