Titan Q4 Profit Surges 35% Driven by Strong Jewellery Sales Growth.
In its fourth quarter of FY26, Titan Company reported a robust 35% increase in consolidated net profit, amounting to Rs 1,179 crore. The Tata Group’s flagship brand witnessed a substantial 46% rise in total income, reaching approximately Rs 20,300 crore. This growth was predominantly fueled by exceptional performance in the jewellery sector, which saw a remarkable 50% increase in its portfolio, yielding Rs 18,195 crore, while the watches segment benefitted from a 15% growth due to premiumization trends. Notably, the India jewellery business showcased impressive results, with income soaring to Rs 17,114 crore, alongside significant growth in the CaratLane and international jewellery markets.
During the quarter, Titan expanded its retail footprint significantly, adding a net of 27 jewellery stores across India and four additional stores in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. The acquisition of a 67% stake in Damas Jewellery marked a pivotal step in Titan’s international expansion strategy, incorporating 123 stores into its network. Conversely, the smart wearable category has shown weakness, witnessing a nearly 50% decline in overall value, indicating potential challenges in a competitive market. Nevertheless, Titan’s eyewear division maintained its upward trajectory with a 17% growth in income.
Overall, FY26 has emerged as a landmark year for Titan, with consolidated total income surging by 33% to Rs 76,078 crore and profit after tax increasing by 52% to Rs 5,073 crore. Ajoy Chawla, the managing director, stated that the company’s swift achievement of the next Rs 25,000 crore in revenue just a year after surpassing Rs 50,000 crore reflects the strength of its brand and customer trust. While Titan remains optimistic about its trajectory, it acknowledges the necessity for agility amid macroeconomic volatility and geopolitical uncertainties as it prepares for FY27.
