DIMS Computers Director K.S.B.K. Raju emphasized the importance of skill-oriented courses during a certificate distribution event for students who completed short-term computer courses under the Skill India Development programme in Vizianagaram. He urged students to integrate such courses with their academic studies to adapt to technological advancements and meet the needs of the software industry.

Raju announced the upcoming launch of internship programmes for polytechnic and engineering students in partnership with the Government of Andhra Pradesh, aiming to enhance practical skills and employability. The initiative aligns with the broader goals of fostering a skilled workforce capable of supporting local industries.

Highlighting the potential for job placements in the region, Raju expressed optimism about future opportunities following the establishment of the Bhogapuram international airport, a Google data centre, and additional software companies in Visakhapatnam. This infrastructure development is anticipated to stimulate local employment and economic growth.
