Raymond Realty Q1 Pre-Sales Surge Over 200% to Rs 700 Crore Amid Strong Housing Demand

Raymond Realty Ltd has demonstrated remarkable growth in sales bookings, reporting a robust increase of over 130% to Rs 700 crore in the first quarter of the fiscal year, compared to Rs 306 crore during the same period last year. This surge is attributed to strong demand for the company’s premium residential properties, underscoring both the underlying market resilience and the effectiveness of its sales strategies, despite the absence of new project launches in the quarter. The company’s management highlighted the substantial interest in their offerings, validating the potential for sustained demand within the high-end residential sector.

In parallel with the increased sales, the company’s cash collections rose by 47% year-on-year, reaching Rs 550 crore in the latest quarter. This increase not only reflects strong market confidence but also bolsters Raymond Realty’s liquidity position, which stood at Rs 270 crore as of June 30, 2026. Furthermore, the strategic capital deployment during the quarter includes an infusion of Rs 198 crore in borrowings aimed at satisfying construction and working capital requirements for projects slated for launch in FY26, indicating proactive investment in future growth opportunities.

As of June 30, 2026, Raymond Realty’s total outstanding borrowings have climbed to Rs 1,097 crore, a significant increase from Rs 380 crore a year earlier. This rise in debt correlates directly with the ongoing peak-cycle construction activities across seven projects initiated this fiscal year. The elevated leverage profile, leading to a net debt position of Rs 827 crore, is underpinned by a robust collection pipeline, positioning the company to unlock substantial revenue milestones in the upcoming 12-18 months. This strategic alignment with market demand and growth initiatives suggests a cautiously optimistic outlook for Raymond Realty as it navigates through an evolving real estate landscape.
