Rahul Gandhi Accuses Modi and Shah of Betraying the Constitution at Rae Bareli Gathering.

Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, has accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and the RSS of being “traitors” for their alleged attacks on the Constitution and for attempting to undermine reservation for marginalized communities. Speaking at the Bahujan Swabhiman Sammelan in Rae Bareli, Gandhi emphasized his stance, stating he would not apologize for his remarks. He highlighted upcoming economic challenges, predicting severe inflation and distress among farmers, while asserting that the affluent would remain unaffected.

During his address, Gandhi criticized Modi’s recent trip to Italy, mocking the Prime Minister’s gesture of giving a candy to Italian Prime Minister Meloni amid the turbulent global landscape. He focused on issues like rising unemployment and the alleged transfer of land from marginal farmers to industrialists, condemning the government’s modifications to the MGNREGA scheme which previously provided significant employment to millions.

While unveiling a statue of Veera Pasi, Gandhi signaled an intention to strengthen ties with the Pasi community. Additionally, he met with the family of late Congress leader Yogendra Mishra to express condolences, underscoring his commitment to connect with party workers and the public. Congress leader Anil Yadav noted a surge of enthusiasm among local citizens toward Gandhi’s initiatives, indicating a united front among party members in challenging the ruling government.
