Patanjali Foods Reports Impressive 35% YoY Surge in Q1 Gross Profit, Reaching Rs 1,521 Crore.

Patanjali Foods has demonstrated robust growth in its first quarter of the financial year 2026-27 (Q1FY27), reporting a significant 35.22% year-on-year increase in gross profit, reaching Rs 1,521.97 crore. The revenue from operations also exhibited strong growth, amounting to Rs 11,337.45 crore, representing a 29.33% year-on-year rise and a 1.63% increase quarter-on-quarter, solidifying the company’s trajectory in a competitive FMCG landscape.

The operating EBITDA for the quarter, calculated excluding exceptional items, surged by 69.2% year-on-year to Rs 543.40 crore, reflecting an operating EBITDA margin of 4.80%. The margins for gross profit, operating EBITDA, and profit before tax (PBT) were recorded at 13.42%, 4.80%, and 4.00% respectively. The FMCG segment notably contributed to consolidated revenue by 25.65%, while accounting for 29.56% of consolidated EBITDA, reinforcing its significance within the company’s broader operational framework.

Strategically, Patanjali Foods has expanded its footprint and maintained a strong commitment to operational efficiencies, with its oil palm plantation area under cultivation reaching 1,15,861 hectares as of June 2026. In terms of shareholder returns, the company declared an interim dividend of Rs 1.50 per equity share for FY2025-26, alongside another interim dividend of Rs 0.80 for FY2026-27. This move indicates a resolute confidence in financial stability and a commitment to returning capital to shareholders.
