IPO Frenzy: Five Companies, Including Shiprocket, Set to Raise Rs 5,499 Crore Next Week!

India’s primary market is experiencing a significant uptick in activity, having already facilitated the fundraising of Rs 54,378 crore through 42 mainline IPOs this year. In the upcoming week, five additional companies are poised to contribute to this momentum by launching public issues aimed at generating a combined Rs 5,499.32 crore. Notably, Horizon Industrial Parks accounts for a substantial portion, seeking to raise Rs 2,600 crore, which represents nearly 47% of the expected total funds from this week’s offerings. Lalithaa Jewellery Mart, positioned as the second-largest IPO, aims to secure Rs 1,700 crore, indicating robust interest in the market amid growing investor confidence.

The IPO launch schedule is strategically structured, beginning with Horizon Industrial Parks and Lalithaa Jewellery Mart on August 17. Horizon’s price band is set between Rs 57 and Rs 60 per share, while Lalithaa’s pricing ranges from Rs 190 to Rs 201 per share, with both issues closing on August 19. Subsequent offerings include Shankesh Jewellers and Sunshine Pictures, opening on August 18 and seeking to raise Rs 367.18 crore and Rs 282.14 crore, respectively. Gaja Alternative Asset Management rounds out the week by opening its public issue on August 19, looking to raise Rs 550 crore with a price band of Rs 152 to Rs 160 per share.

As these new IPOs come to market, attention is also drawn to recent listings from five companies that have already concluded their offerings. Collectively, these companies raised Rs 7,478.69 crore, with notable listings such as Dhoot Transmission and Molbio Diagnostics debuting on August 17. Milky Mist Dairy Food will list on August 18, while Shiprocket and Behari Lal Engineering will follow on August 19. The dynamics surrounding these initial public offerings and market entries suggest a continuing trend of heightened investor activity, driven by a combination of positive sentiment and the expanding diversity of sectors represented in the IPO landscape.
