BJP Unveils Five Candidates for Upcoming Legislative Council Elections.
BJP has announced five candidates for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council elections. The Central Election Committee has approved these names, which include two candidates for the graduates’ constituency and three for the teachers’ constituency.
Awanish Kumar Singh is set to contest for the Lucknow graduates’ seat, while Manvendra Pratap Singh will represent the Agra graduates’ constituency. This strategic candidate selection aims to strengthen the party’s presence in key educational segments.
In the teachers’ constituency, Hari Singh Dhillon will contest from the Bareilly-Muradabad seat, with Umesh Dwivedi and Shrichand Sharma representing the Lucknow and Meerut seats, respectively. This move highlights the BJP’s focus on education and its effort to consolidate support among academic professionals in the state.
