2026 Multibagger Smallcap Stock Soars 10% Following Rs 1,437-Crore Vedanta Aluminium Contract Win!

Shares of Bluspring Enterprises have experienced a significant upward trajectory, surging 10% to a record high of Rs 132 on the BSE, following a substantial operations and maintenance (O&M) contract awarded to its subsidiary, STEAG Energy Services (India). The contract, valued at Rs 1,437.17 crore, pertains to the O&M of Vedanta Aluminium Metal’s 1,215 MW captive power plant and is set to last five years, effective from August 1, 2026. This recent gain has propelled Bluspring’s share price to a remarkable 100% increase in 2026 to date, underscoring strong market confidence in the company’s operational capabilities and growth potential.

Notably, this contract represents the second significant order awarded to STEAG Energy Services by the Vedanta group within a month. Previously, the subsidiary secured a Rs 1,219.85 crore O&M contract for Units 1, 3, and 4 of Vedanta’s 1,800 MW thermal power plant, which commenced on July 1, 2026. Additionally, the company also obtained a Rs 406.43 crore maintenance contract for a 600 MW thermal power plant, further solidifying its role as a key service provider to Vedanta Aluminium. Given these developments, Bluspring Enterprises appears strategically positioned to capitalize on lucrative opportunities in the infrastructure services sector.

In broader market contexts, Vedanta Aluminium Metal has been identified as a compelling investment prospect, with several brokerages recently initiating coverage on the stock. Emkay’s report highlights a positive long-term outlook with a target price of Rs 550, which reflects a 19% upside. This sentiment is echoed by Citi, which issued a ‘Buy’ rating with a target price of Rs 560, underlining factors such as robust earnings potential and strategic expansions. Market analysts assert that the ongoing structural dynamics within the aluminium industry are likely to sustain a supply deficit through CY28, thereby reinforcing the growth narrative for Vedanta Aluminium and, consequently, the service contracts issued to Bluspring Enterprises.
