Search Intensifies for Missing Fishermen Off the Coast of Nellore
Two bodies were recovered while search efforts continue for two missing fishermen after their boats capsized due to a storm near Tatichetlapalem beach in the Kavali constituency of SPSR Nellore district. The deceased have been identified as Tuppili Balamurali, aged 55, and Kumari Govindu, aged 44. Local authorities reported that Ganesh, aged 27, and Raja, aged 31, are still unaccounted for, both hailing from Alicharla Bangarupalem village in Bogolu mandal of the district.
According to Bitragunta police, the Coast Guard officials, along with local fishermen, have been conducting search operations for over 24 hours. The conditions at sea have made recovery efforts challenging, and it remains uncertain whether the missing individuals have perished or are still alive. The community is anxiously awaiting updates as search efforts persist.
