The Q4FY26 earnings season concludes with notable performances among a select group of BSE-listed companies boasting market capitalizations exceeding Rs 2,500 crore. An analysis by Ace Equity featured in ETMarkets has highlighted 19 companies that not only reported remarkable year-on-year growth in profit after tax (PAT) but also showed substantial revenue increases, suggesting robust business fundamentals rather than a temporary low-base effect. Notably, Raymond Realty emerged as a standout performer, showcasing exceptional topline and bottom-line growth, a testament to its strong execution and the booming demand within the real estate sector.
Other companies that exemplified outstanding financial performance include 63 Moons Technologies, which reported PAT growth of 107% alongside an impressive 884% revenue increase. Likewise, Sigma Advanced Systems and Lloyds Metals & Energy also recorded substantial revenue and PAT growth rates of 469% and 609%, and 407% and 647%, respectively. A noteworthy mention goes to the Multi-Commodity Exchange of India (MCX), which reported 205% revenue growth fueled by heightened trading activity and enhanced operational leverage. The renewable energy and infrastructure sectors also delivered strong results, with Onix Solar Energy leading the charge with an astounding 3,936% PAT growth.
Overall, the earnings report reveals that 118 companies achieved PAT growth exceeding 100% during Q4FY26, but only a smaller fraction managed to double both profits and revenues. Leading the charge were firms like Piramal Finance and JSW Cement, showcasing an explosive year-on-year PAT growth of 3,946% and 3,683%, respectively. More companies, including Kalpataru and Neuland Laboratories, contributed significantly to the robust growth narrative. This widespread expansion in earnings and revenue reflects a strong market landscape that could be indicative of sustained growth potential across various sectors in the upcoming financial quarters.
