ONGC Partners with BP Subsidiary to Boost Production in Western Offshore Operations

State-run Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has selected BP Exploration Services India (BPXS) as the Technical Services Provider (TSP) for enhancing production from the western offshore fields, excluding the Mumbai High field. This collaboration aims to implement measures that could potentially increase crude oil production by approximately 10.8% and gas production by around 31.5% over a 10-year contract period. Specifically, this translates to a rise in crude oil production from a baseline of 46.25 million tonnes to an estimated 51.26 million tonnes, and gas production from 82.68 billion cubic meters to 108.69 billion cubic meters.
