Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has emphasized the urgent need for land acquisition pertaining to the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme (PRLIS), instructing officials and elected representatives to expedite the process. During a meeting in Mahabubnagar, he underscored the importance of swiftly acquiring land for various projects across the erstwhile united Mahbubnagar district, ensuring that there are no delays in compensation for the affected landowners.

The Chief Minister’s meeting with district Ministers and MLAs aimed to review the status of ongoing projects and identify barriers to their progress. He reassured that the State Government is prepared to address any pending financial obligations tied to projects at different stages of development within the district. The focus on prompt land acquisition and compensation signals the government’s commitment to enhancing irrigation infrastructure and overall agricultural productivity.
