Alpha Corp Announces Rs 900 Crore Investment to Revitalize Stalled Projects in Delhi-NCR, Offering Hope to 3,000 Customers.

Alpha Corp Development Ltd, a prominent real estate firm, is poised to invest approximately Rs 900 crore to revive three previously stalled projects in Greater Noida and Gurugram. This initiative aims to offer relief to over 3,000 clients who have been awaiting completion for up to 16 years. The company successfully acquired these projects—Earth TechOne, Earth Sapphire Court, and Earth Copia—through a resolution process facilitated by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT). The positive decision from the Supreme Court on May 5 helped restore Alpha Corp’s resolution plan, reinforcing the effectiveness of the insolvency resolution framework.

The successful execution of this plan is expected to generate revenue of around Rs 1,200 crore for Alpha Corp, combining funds from existing customers and revenue from unsold units in the developments. The residential project in Gurugram alone features 600 units, with 450 units already sold. Additionally, both commercial projects collectively boast a saleable area of approximately 40 lakh square feet. The phased completion of these projects is projected over the next four years, addressing long-standing consumer concerns while also adhering to regulatory guidelines established by the Indian judiciary.

Alpha Corp’s strategic move to revitalize stressed assets aligns with its broader goal to acquire additional distressed projects, thereby enhancing its portfolio. Underlining his optimism, Executive Director and CFO Santosh Agarwal noted that the restoration of the resolution plan signifies a historic leap forward for stalled developments, alluding to a renewed confidence within the real estate sector. As the company looks forward to these investments, the gesture heralds both economic recovery for affected customers and a revitalized landscape for real estate in India.
