The ruling NDA is leading in 93 seats in Assam, with the BJP ahead in 74 constituencies as per the Election Commission’s trends for 121 of the 126 seats. Its alliance partners, the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) and the Bodoland Peoples’ Front (BPF), are also showing strong performances, leading in 10 and nine seats, respectively. The Congress party is currently leading in 23 constituencies and its ally, the Raijor Dal, has secured a lead in one seat, achieving a notable awareness of competition from the AIUDF and others.

Lurinjyoti Gogoi of the AJP is ahead in Khowang, and Raijor Dal president Akhil Gogoi leads in Sibsagar, a seat he previously represented as an Independent. These results reflect shifting allegiances and the dynamic political landscape in Assam, where former Congress leaders have joined the BJP and are enjoying electoral success.
