Sigma Advanced Systems Soars 5% Following ₹155 Crore Anti-Drone Orders, Stock Surges 105% in Just 3 Months!
Sigma Advanced Systems experienced a significant market rally, with its shares rising nearly 5% to Rs 658.45 in Tuesday’s trading session. This uptick is attributed to the announcement of orders totaling approximately Rs 155 crore for the Indrajaal Ranger anti-drone system from various government security agencies. The stock’s performance is particularly noteworthy given its remarkable multibagger return of 105% over the last three months, which has positioned it prominently within the defense sector. The order consists of a substantial Rs 145 crore awarded to the Indrajaal-Sigma consortium, aimed at enhancing India’s border security framework, while an additional Rs 10 crore order will be utilized for urban police operations focusing on VVIP protection.
The Indrajaal Ranger is distinguished as India’s sole ARDTC-approved Anti-Drone Patrol Vehicle, designed as a mobile Counter-UAS platform capable of offering anti-drone protection in various scenarios, including borders, VVIP routes, and public events. This innovation comes at a time when the threat landscape posed by drones has evolved, necessitating advanced solutions beyond traditional fixed-site systems. The dual-purpose deployments signify an emerging category in homeland security, illustrating the growing importance of mobile defense operations amidst dynamically changing threat profiles. Sigma Advanced Systems currently boasts a robust order book of approximately Rs 8,000 crore, reinforcing strong revenue visibility for the foreseeable future.
From a technical standpoint, the stock’s performance remains encouraging, indicated by a 14-day Relative Strength Index (RSI) of 51.4, which situates it in neutral territory. The absence of overbought conditions, as reflected by the RSI positioning, suggests room for further growth despite the recent sharp advances. Additionally, Sigma Advanced Systems maintains a solid technical setup, trading above six of its eight key simple moving averages (SMAs), which points to a prevailing bullish trend. The company’s latest financial disclosures show a robust revenue increase of approximately Rs 379 crore for the June 2026 quarter, marking an impressive year-on-year growth rate of 102.3%, with net profits standing at around Rs 24 crore.
