Hitachi Energy India Reports Q1 Net Profit Surge of Over 100% to Rs 294 Crore!

Hitachi Energy India has reported a remarkable financial performance for the June quarter of FY27, with net profit surging more than 100% year-on-year to Rs 294.2 crore, up from Rs 131.6 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. This exceptional growth in profitability underscores the company’s ability to capitalize on the increasing demand within the energy sector, which has been catalyzed by transitional shifts and security considerations at both national and global levels.

In terms of operational performance, revenue from operations experienced a significant increase, rising to Rs 2,493.7 crore, compared to Rs 1,478.9 crore in the corresponding period last year. Such a surge in revenue indicates robust business activity and suggests that Hitachi Energy has effectively leveraged market dynamics to enhance its sales performance. Moreover, the company achieved total orders amounting to Rs 5,096.5 crore during Q1FY27, reflecting strong demand and solidifying its market position.

An important aspect of this quarter’s results is the impressive order backlog, which has reached an unprecedented Rs 32,222.1 crore. This figure is indicative of not only the current strength of Hitachi Energy’s operations but also its future revenue potential. The backlog signals sustained demand, providing a healthy outlook for upcoming quarters. Managing Director & CEO N Venu emphasized that this strong performance is a testament to the favorable market momentum stemming from energy transition opportunities, which are expected to continue driving growth.
